“First of all, I have been equally inspired by sound and visual phenomena from an early age. I have turned myself into a painter and musician quite naturally. The paintings are non-verbal, the music an ongoing dialogue with myself, and others. The painting experience is isolated and the music more social. The two complete me. I would hope these works have a presence of their own”  – Stan Wood, 2007.
